Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
This verse tells us that God created heaven and earth out of nothing, tohoo va bohoo. Science always starts with something; primordial matter before the Big Bang, or primordial soup before amino acids. Man starts with something. God starts with nothing but His Spirit.
